Wheat for it as Boro look to Riise

Liverpool Target David Wheater could be on his way to Anfield. The Centre-back who has been put into the England U21 side for their friendly in a few weeks could get his move due to John Arne Riise leaving. If Riise leaves and joins Middlesborough they could ask for David Wheater and money for him.

A source close to David Wheater said, “He’s been a Boro fan like his family and im sure he wants to stay there.” Yet Liverpool can offer him what Boro can’t. Champions League Football regularly. But having spent £6m on Martin Skrtel in January from Uefa Cup Finalists, that may put the move out.
