West Ham to Sign Kop Misfit?

Alan Curbishley looks set to join the race to sign Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant according to reports coming out of the East London Club.

The English winger is believed to be valued at around £7million, and West Ham believe they can pip Blackburn to signing the former Arsenal player.

Pennant is a player that Reds boss Rafael Benitez would like to sell as he looks to raise funds to finance a bid for long-term target Gareth Barry.
