Wenger shakin’ in his boots!

Published by Redneck on March 15, 2008

Arsene Wenger has admitted that unless his defensive line can take care of Fernando Torres they will be trounced by the Reds in our forthcoming European battles.

“He is going through a good spell. He had an indifferent spell at the start, but now he has adapted very quickly.” said the Gunners boss.

“He is quick, strong, brave and that’s the kind of competition you want to keep quiet in the Champions League.  You must be particularly careful when he is away from home.”

“You do not want to give him any counterattacking chances. He and Steven Gerrard are both very quick on the break.” he added.

I think our tie will depend on events at the Emirates, if we can grab a draw, hopefully with an away-goal, then we’ll hammer ‘em at Anfield with the voice of the Kop in full-swing!

We’ve hit form at just thr ight moment.

Did you know that this is the best points total we have had after 30 Premiership games? I’m still in shock, if only we didn’t cock it up after Christmas we would be right up there challenging for #19.
