We can beat anyone, insists Masch

Liverpool’s tenacious Argentinian midfielder says his team are feeling confident ahead of their clash with Chelsea later today.
Javier Mascherano believes that the Reds are capable of beating anyone.
“We know that it is a big game and a big test for us because Chelsea are a good team and they are very hard to beat on their own ground,” Mascherano told the offish site.
“But we have managed to get ourselves into a good position in the league and even though we know it will be really difficult we do believe that we can win.
“Our confidence is high. We have made a good start to the season and now we just want to keep on winning and picking up points against whoever we are playing.
“We know that Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United are probably the most difficult games but we think we have a good team that can win against anyone.”
“If we beat Chelsea, this is one game – we need to go there and do our best and after that we will see.
“But, like I said, we can beat anyone and we proved this last season when we had victories against Inter Milan and Arsenal in the Champions League.
“Now this season we have started really well and we want to continue our unbeaten run but we know that Chelsea will be a tough match for us.”
