United and Liverpool to Fight Over Winger?
According to Antonio Valencia’s agent, Diego Herrera, Manchester United and Liverpool are contemplating whether to sign the Wigan Midfielder.
Diego Herrera told El Comercio newspaper: “It is impossible to stop the improvement in a player’s career when Manchester and Liverpool and in the middle.”
”They have been following him for the past months. There are also two more teams interested. But he will not come cheap.”
Last week, Bruce commented £5million was not enough for the player.
The winger was initially bought by Paul Jewell in 2006, but has really blossomed under the leadership and guidance of Steve Bruce. Valencia has played in 30 games this season and has scored one goal.
