San Siro could be too tempting for £30m Gerrard
Published by Redneck on February 15, 2008
Inter Milan president, Massimo Moratti, has earmarked over £30million to celebrate their centenary year by bringing Steven Gerrard to Milan in a sensational summer-swoop.
Tuttosport are reporting that our poor position in the league, and the constant speculation surrounding Rafa’s position as manager, could be deciding factors in bringing his top-target to the San Siro.
With Real Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea waiting in the wings for the England International (temporary) captain, Moratti will face stiff competition should indications from Anfield become clear that Gerrard could be tempted away.
A nightmare situation for us all I am sure you will agree. If the unthinkable did happen this summer it would surely spark an almighty revolution for our club, especially if DIC get they’re own way.

How many times we’ve seen attempts to lure him away from Anfield, and how many times we witnessed these attempts failed. Just wondering how long we’re able to reject an offer for him before he’s eventually tempted to move away. Though I’d love him to stay and play in Anfield for the rest of his career but he may also think “never say never!” that’d be the saddest day in my life as a liverpool supporter if he is ever to leave…
Stevie G is the heartbeat along with carra he is not replacable no ronaldinho/kaka/ronaldo could give to liverpool what stevie does would be a sad day to be a liverpool supporter! saying that i do not think he will go get the americans out and let rafa build a team with alot of money like man.u/chelsea ect toress/babel/agger will only improve next season with a few good additions glory days back at anfield so stick in there stevie every liverpool supporter is behind you to stay you wont get support like that at any other club!
Would be a devestating blow if he were to leave, I remember the feeling when I heard he was leaving for Chelsea, but it does sound like a viable option for him if things went from bad to worse at LFC!

Just to make sure people know the truth, not gossip;
Last season (2007/2008) rafa brought in over 70m worth of players … Manu spent just under 60m (Tevez is on loan, people think they bought him)!
I researched this about 4 weeks ago when i was sick of people using the excuse that owners don’t give rafa any money.
In the 4 years rafa has spent approx. 114m
manu have spent in the same 4 years approx. 117m
(I have under-estimated as not all figures were easy to get an exact)
manu buy quality players, some years they have only bought 1 player, but he has been a 20m player ….. rafa keeps buying squad players … why? because thats what he has had to do all his career, if each year he just bought quality players (20m) we would be in a stronger position!
Please, stop pointing the finger at the owners, I’m not too bothered by them but all this balme game crap needs to stop cause those pointing fingers are helping to bring this great club down!!!
Big season ahead for us and possibly a 2nd and a trophy!
