£50million Gerrard Targeted by Milan’s Berlusconi

AC Milan chief Silvio Berlusconi has ordered his scouts to obtain ‘the six best European players’ in a bid to re-build his ageing squad after they were knocked out of Europe’s elite club competition by Arsenal, with Kop captain Steven Gerrard heading the Italian’s wishlist.
AC manager Carlo Ancelotti could also be heading for the Milan exit door, with former Chelsea manager Jose ‘Maureen’ Mourinho being tipped to be installed as new manager during the summer break.
It is understood that Berlusconi is prepared to offer Liverpool an ‘offer they simply cannot refuse’ in a bid to jump back to the top of European football, local rivals Inter Milan are also said to be preparing an Anfield raid.
Chelsea’s Didier Drogba has also been targeted along with Barcelona’s Ronaldinho and Man Ure’s Cristiano Ronaldo in a bid to create a truly amazing ‘dream-team’ that would be capable of domainting European football for years to come.

when i watched the 2nd leg of liverpool vs inter i just said to myself “stevie just wont play in the italian league”
Gerrard is such a honest, fighting football player who is sick of dives and loves the sport passionately.
does he really want to be part of a team whose coach is permanently trying to influence the ref by demanding yellow cards? every inter player made at least 2 dives and cried a litte. that just aint stevies style!
and i think if he doesnt choose inter, he also will not choose AC milan. 50 million is a crazy amount of money, but i think its coming from the “wrong” team. at least i hope so!
if he (and liverpool) refuse this offer he will definitely be an even bigger legend at anfield!

Hmm.. although I admire Gerrard for his mental attributes on the pitch but I wouldn’t call him a fair player as evidences have shown from time to time (if we want to be honest to ourselves!) that he also dives to win the decision.. But, yeah he’s still our captain-fantastic and hope he’ll stay at Liverpool for the rest of his career..
