Torres to Man City? No chance

Published by fiz on October 9, 2008

Fernando Torres will not sign for Manchester City no matter how much money they are planning to offer him, according to Marca.

Marca reported that the billionaire Sulaiman Al Fahim made contact with Torres’ representatives and told them that he would doubled this current salary.

However, the management company (Bahia) was quick to issue a “hands-off” note to the Arab Sheikh. It’s believed that Torres told his management company himself that he’s not interested in leaving Liverpool to join Man City.

This is what club loyalty is all about! He isn’t an Adebayor! He’s Fernando Torres! The world’s best! *Bows down*

I hope the new City owners don’t throw their toys out of the pram over this. They seem to think they can buy ‘anyone’ as long as they offer enough money. Pretty childish way to operate. Saying they want to buy the likes of Ronaldo and Torres is embarassing to be honest.
