Torres suffers injury setback?

Published by Redneck on November 27, 2008

Fernando Torres is said to be undergoing a thorough examination by the Anfield medical staff today after he limped away from our tight 1-0 win over Marseille last night.

He picked up a hamstring injury earlier in the season, keeping him sidlined for 7 games, and it is said to be the same hamstring that he complained of last night after completing the full 90-minutes.

The extent of the injury is unknown and news will surely break over the next 24 hours.

Yes this is certainly a worry. We don’t want another Michael Owen on our hands.
