Torres could face Atletico

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has declared that striker Fernando Torres could feature against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.

“Hopefully he will be ready. If he cannot start the game then he will be on the bench if everything is okay,” Benitez told liverpoolfc.tv.

Torres is nursing a hamstring injury which has kept him out of action since the 3-2 win away at Man City.
