Torres berated for not shaking Aragones’ hand

Published by liverpoolrox on June 12, 2008

A brilliant 4-1 win for Spain over Russia was soured only by an incident involving Torres and Spain internationl manager Aragones. The Liverpool striker was subbed off for Fabregas shortly after half time, storming off the pitch and ignoring Aragones’ outstretched arm.

This has fuelled talks of a rift in the Spanish camp, which could potentially damage Spain’s hopes of a Euro winners’ medal.

His frustation and anger should be seen as a good thing rather than something to have a pop at him about. Being angry about subed show his desire to play and win, as he was playing well with Villa at the time.

I dont understand Fernando’s actions tbh, yes he may be angry but he is one man from eleven and should accept that he wont play in every minute of every game.

Although his action is really inappropriate… I believe Torres just frustrated to being subbed just 9-th minutes after 2nd half… He’s still young & have a fresh blood in him to keep playing & running in all games, esp for his country, Spain… But Torres is undeniable very important for Spain in this Euro…
