Taylor snub alerted Liverpool

Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor is believed to be attracting attention from Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea.

The Evening Chronicle are reporting that Taylor has rejected a double your money offer at St James Park. His current deal has just over a year and a half remaining and although he would like to stay at the club he is holding out for a better offer from the Newcastle board.

His current reluctance to sign a new deal is believed to have alerted Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea, who will all now keep tabs on the highly rated defender.
