Summer move could be on as Kewell begins training for Socceroos
Published by Redneck on April 28, 2008
Harry Kewell has returned back to Australia to begin training with the Socceroo’s in preperation for their forthcoming friendly international against Ghana next month.
“For me in particular, this is an important part of getting back to full match fitness,” said Harry.
“I’m looking forward to getting back home as always because I don’t have a chance to do it more than a couple of times a year at best.” he added.
After having not played for the Reds since mid-february, Kewell’s return to match fitness will give him a fighting chance of finding a new club during the summer transfer window as Reds boss Rafael Benitez looks certain to off-load the costly winger.
