Riise strikes for Norway Draw

John Arne Riise scored a powerful free-kick to seal a draw for his native Norway in a friendly with Uruguay. The final score was 2-2. Riise now has 8 goals in 71 Norway appearances.

The goal came 5 minutes from time. Luis Suarez had put Uruguay 1-0 up before half-time but Tarik Elyounoussi levelled from Riise’s throw-in.

Sebastien Eguren put the South Americans back in front with 21 minutes to go but Riise scored his free-kick to seal a draw.
