It has been revealed that the new third shirt for 2008/9 season will be blue after makers Adidas replaced last seasons Black third shirt which was mostly used for away European games.

I sense ths s shit stirring, I remember the first viewing of the Green away kit in 1992/93 looked Blue on paper yet it was an “emerald green”. One thing was fo certain it wasn’t blue. I’m starting to believe this site is the new Kop Talk, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Duncan Oldham is involved somewhere.

i think all three new kits are great and i cant wait to get mine. the small matter of whose name to get on is my only problem. i want david silva to be one of them so we need to sign him. back to the shirts, did i already mention they are great! blue is different, and its not as though its chelsea blue, its more of a turquoise colour. grey is unique as well, and the home shirt is better because it looks simple

It may interest you all to know that our first ever shirt was bluey turquiose/white large harlequin squares, similar to the old Blackburn kit. That said, I do hate the colour!
