Reds close in on Magic Milestone

Liverpool will reach a masterful achievement if they score 3 against Reading. They are currently on 97 goals for the season and are closing in on 100. Liverpool have scored more goals than any other premiership side.

Following the reds we have Tottenham Hotspur (89), Manchester United (83), Chelsea (81) and Everton (77). Arsenal who are our champions league opponents have not even made the top 5 which shows Liverpool are clear favourites to score more goals.

With Fernando Torres having hit 26 goals which is over 25% it is no wonder the Reds have scored. They hit 8 as they tore past Besiktas and 6 against poor Derby at Anfield which at the time cemented the reds at the top of the table.

So lets hope that the 100th goal comes against Reading at Anfield with another 3 points as we try to capture 4th place. Though we are mathematically are not out of the race yet for the title, it is best to focus on 4th place and another season in the Champions League.
