Alvaro Arbeloa made his debut for the Spanish national team when he came on as a second half sub.
Fernando Torres also played 49 minutes before being replaced by David Villa.
Xabi Alonso also came on as a second half substitute in Spain’s 1-0 win over Italy.
Nabil El Zhar also made his international debut by coming on in the second half and scored a curling ball past Belgium goalkeeper Stijn Stijnen in the 85th minute during Morocco’s 4-1 win over Belgium.
Steven Gerrard and Peter Crouch both played in England’s 0-1 loss to France. Steven Gerrard played the whole first half before being replaced by Peter Crouch for the second half.
Yossi Benayoun scored a free kick in Israel’s 1-0 win over Chile in Tel Aviv.
Javier Mascherano played the whole match in Argentina’s 2-0 win over Egypt in Cairo.
Andriy Voronin made his long awaited return from injury by playing 77 minutes in Ukraine’s 2-0 win over Serbia.
John Arne Riise played the full match in Norway’s 3-1 loss to Montenegro.
Ryan Babel (pictured) came on for Rafael Van Der Vaart in the 70th minute during Holland’s 4-3 win over Austria.
Martin Skrtel played the full 90 minutes in Slovakia’s 1-2 loss to Iceland.
