Rafa to re-sign Barragan?
Published by Redneck on August 4, 2008
Rafa Benitez could make a shock move to re-sign Antonio Barragan from Deportivo La Corunja after it was revealed that a clause was inserted into the deal that allowed Benitez to re-sign him during the summer of 2008 for a fixed fee of £1.6million.
The Kop newspaper reports that the 21-year-old right-back could make a switch back to Merseyside during the summer of 2011 instead, for a slightly more inflated fee, should Benitez opt against making a move this season.
Barragan played just 10 games last season for Depor, and the arrival of Philipp Degen makes a 2008 move unlikely, but in 3 years time he could’ve matured into a well-balanced full-back that we can snap up on the cheap.

Only if he wants to move to anfield.

he is better than degen and finnan now so they should just get him right away. i was waiting for this to come up because i had heard there was a buy back clause. he is so much better than degen, who is absolute rubbish!
Rafa SHOULD re-sign barragan. He is goint to be one of the best. THats the reason maybe that rafa wants to trade finnan for barry
