Rafa ready to pounce on Newcastle star?
As we first reported back in November, speculation surrounding the England Under-21 and Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor is increasing as Arsene Wenger and Rafa Benitez look favourites to jump in should contract talks not step-up a gear during the final run-up to the end of the season.
“The longer I hear nothing from the club the more I fear they want to sell me.” said Taylor who still appears content to stay at the free-falling club.
“If there is no offer on the table by the summer then I will have no choice but to look at my options.” he added.
Other long-term deals for youthful United players such as James Milner and Charles N’Zogbia have already been thrashed out and signed, so it is increasingly likely that a bidding war could erupt during the summer transfer window should Rafa Benitez get hold of the funds he so desperately requires to build a Premiership-winning squad.
It already published on a variety of online sources that Newcastle manager Kevin Keegan has been given the all-clear for a mass cull up North, will Taylor be one of the chopped players?

you’re living in a dream world if you think taylor will be leaving.
lol your whole bleedin squad will want to leave if you carry on the way you are …
Cannot believe Keegan got back in to a top-flight managers job.
His time with England proved (to me) he wasn’t capable of making the grade as a top manager.
The biggest mistake NUFC made was appointing big sam, as he is simply a useless fool and was lucky to have a group of hard bastards at Bolton who fought for the team.
You’ve not had much foriegn flare in recent years so a move for a foreign continental manager was on the cards in my view.
take him, he’s sh*te, irrational, naive, headless chicken
its no good having 1 good game every 4
Taylor wont learn anything or improve playing alongside foreigners who cant speak english with a weak as p*ss midfield infront of him
you can take him for me - he’s always the one who makes the mistakes. last year titus bramble got the flak - this year its cacapa. if only he was half as good as he thinks he is
If you lot give us anything above 4million you’ve been ripped off because he’s shi** just look at the mistake against man united when he let ronaldo run through.
