Pompey bid for Crouch rejected
Portsmouth The News reported that Liverpool have rejected a £9 million bid from Aston Villa for striker Peter Crouch.
Harry Redknapp has been a fan of the lanky striker but he insists that he wouldn’t pay submit to Liverpool’s excessive demand. Crouch’s high price-tag of £15 million has hindered a move to Portsmouth.
Crouch has found himself warming the bench on many occasions as the gaffer has gone for the partnership of Fernando Torres and Dirk Kuyt. It is still unclear whether he will stay or move to a club where he’ll be given regular football.

Lets get this straight before everyone starts slagging Raffa. Redknapp has not actually offered 9mil what he has offered is 7mill plus a further 2 dependent on other factors. whilst 15mil is over the top 7mil is a joke.
