Poll Results: Mascherano Wins Best Player Award

Argentine Javier Mascherano has been nominated by Kop-TV visitors as our best player in yesterday’s 1-0 victory over 10-man Inter Milan to progress into the Quarter-Final draw which takes place this coming Friday.

Mascherano picked up 39% of the 265 votes casted, whilst goal-scorer Fernando Torres followed closely behind with 30% of the votes.

Goalkeeper Pepe Reina put in a solid display to attract 19% of the votes, and captain Steven Gerrard managed just 8% of the votes.

Fabio Aurellio and Dirk Kuyt propped up the poll with 3% and 1% of the votes respectively.
