Parry one of ECA board members

In the wake of the disolved G14, the European Club Association has been born. Less elitist and more recognised by Fifa and UEFA, the ECA will operate as some sort of union of clubs as they look to volley Fifa for rights and privedges.

The newly formed organization will have 15 board members and one of the select few is Liverpool FC’s very own Rick Parry.

“This body has far greater credibility than the G14, both with fellow clubs and UEFA, because G14 was always seen as an elite group,” said Liverpool’s General Manager.

“Now we have clubs with widely diverging interests. We wanted a proper say in the issues that affect us most and it’s important that there’s an English voice on the board.”
