Clock Ticking for Mascherano

After his sending off and outburst against North-West rivals Man Utd, Javier Mascherano has been charged by the FA for improper conduct, which could see his 1 match ban (Everton) extend to 3 matches (Everton, Arsenal, Blackburn).

The defensive lynch pin has been given until 1800 GMT on Thursday to accept the charges or appeal against them.

The case is scheduled on 4 April.
