Luton boss will take charge at Anfield

Kevin Blackwell has quit crisis club Luton Town but will still manage them against Liverpool. The manager of the southern side has decided to work his notice despite not needing to. He will lead his side out against Liverpool on Tuesday night at Anfield with several players missing from that side.
Despite the administrators decision to sell on players, Luton hosted Swansea yesterday and lost 3-1. If both of them sides win on Tuesday they will meet again at Kenilworth road in a couple of weeks. But Luton have had many potential buyers and fans are fuming at the administrators decision to sell some key players.
Blackwell spoke in his press conference in midweek about the administrators forcing him out but spoke of his admiration for the players through the hard times at the club. David Edwards and Chris Coyne have been sold to Wolves and Colchester respectively. Ahmet Brkovic has made his loan move at Millwall permanent with more bids flooding in with bids for Dean Brill lodged following his impressive performance in the 3rd round tie at Kenilworth Road.
