Teen ‘Keeper Set To Arrive At Anfield …. Finally!

Bulgaria’s Youth Team captain Niki Mihaylov is expected to arrive on Merseyside at the end of the season after the goalkeeper spent a season on-loan in Holland.

The former Levski player was signed by Benitez last summer, but he could not play for Liverpool as he had work permit issues.

Much like what happened to Mark Gonzalez, Mihaylov was sent out on loan to FC Twente where he has been featuring regularly for the second team throughout the season.

Niki stated before his match against Portugal, “In a month Lucho Tanev (Niki’s agent) will leave for England, to see what happens with the so famous visa of mine.”

He is the son of Bulgarian goalkeeping legend Borislav Mihaylov - who is now president of the Bulgarian Football Union.
