Liverpool turns to new target after Taylor snub

Liverpool have set their sights on Fulham goalkeeper Antti Niemi as a backup for Pepe Reina according to The Mirror. Maik Taylor’s rejection has prompted Rafa to look for a new target.

Antti Niemi has expressed his desire to leave the club after after being knocked down the pecking order by Kasey Keller and new signing Mark Schwarzer.

There are 5 top-flight clubs expressing their interest in the goalkeeper and he’ll make the decision after returning from holiday.
