Liverpool sign Tamworth’s goalkeeper

Liverpool have signed Tamworths’s goalkeeper Dean Chamberlain in an undisclosed deal. The Sixteen-year-old was told he wasn’t tall enough to sign for Aston Villa, but it was a blessing in disguise as Liverpool snap up the youngster right away.

Deale’s father Mark said: “I am delighted that my son has gone to a club with such a high stature like Liverpool.

“It’s one step closer to his ambition of becoming the England number one.”

“We had many offers from other big clubs but we felt that Liverpool offered not only the best deal but also had the best facilities.”

Chamberlain is the current England under-16s goalkeeper and is a big fan of Aston Villa and Pepe Reina.
