Liverpool Agree £20m Keane Fee - Reports
Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspurs have agreed a fee for Robbie Keane, according to reports in The Daily Post. They claims that the clubs have agreed on the £20million transfer fee with “various add-ons and incentives”.
Benitez has publicly declared interest in Keane to replace Peter Crouch who has linked up with Harry Redknapp at Portsmouth.
However, Tottenham have just lodged an official complain to the Premier League over Liverpool’s behavior in the transfer window. Spurs Chairman blasted Liverpool for ‘prising’ away their player.
Levy said; “The behaviour of both clubs has been disgraceful. We told both clubs very early on that we had no interest in selling Robbie or Dimitar and that they should refrain from pursuing. Both clubs arrogantly chose to ignore this request and we now have evidence that both clubs have systematically been working to prise the players away from us, outside of Premier League rules of conduct.”
