Kuyt Bundesliga-bound?
Published by Redneck on March 4, 2008
Bayern Munich are reportedly weighing up a move for Dirk Kuyt after revealing that one of their top strikers will more than likely be leaving for pastures new this summer.
Luca Toni, Lukas Podolski and Miroslav Klose’s futures are uncertain at the Bundesliga giants, and Dirk Kuyt is considered by many to be the perfect work-horse to bolster their strikerforce should they become thin during the transfer period.
Dutch magazine Sportweek claims “Bayern are monitoring his situation on Merseyside closely with a view to considering an approach during the close season”.
Despite his poor goal-scored record, Rafa Benitez still thinks a lot of Dirk as he is a versatile player capable of playing in many advanced roles, so will be looking to at least re-coup the £9million he laid out for him from Feyenoord.
