Juve to test Liverpool with Alonso bid

According to several sports network in Italy, Juventus director Jean-Claude Blanc is in Liverpool with the intention of signing Xabi Alonso.

Alonso’s future has been the major talking point among Liverpool fans as many top European clubs is rumoured to be interested in the Spaniard.

The reports are saying that Juventus have offered £11 million but Liverpool wouldn’t want anything less than £14 million.

However, Liverpool are likely to reject Juventus’s bid to sign the midfielder after the player has pledged his future to Liverpool.

When asked about his link with other clubs, he said to Sky Sports: “At the moment I am with Liverpool, I have a contract with Liverpool and I want to be at Liverpool. I have been surprised and very disappointed to read that I want to leave Liverpool. The people who write these things have clearly not done very rigorous research”
