Impressive display from Liverpool Reserves

Liverpool Reserve team manager Gary Ablett will be delighted with the impressive display put in by his players to earn a 2-0 victory over rivals Manchester Urinal at Warrington tonight.

A penalty from Xabi Alonso (pictured) ensured the Reds took the lead going into the second-half, with Harry Kewell doubling our lead late-on.

Manchester Urinal did come close on several occasions, and pressed well in search of a second-half equaliser but their efforts we’re all in vain as the table-topping Reds extended their impressive run in the league.
