Hungarian calls the shots as Ressie’s stutter to victory thumbnail

Krisztian Nemeth is on fire! It was his goal that allowed our Reserve team to go eight-points clear at the top of the FA Premier Reserve League North after a stuttering 1-0 victory over Bolton Reserves last night, Ray Putterill will be taking the plaudits however after some stunning wing work to set up the Hungarian after 13 minutes.

After some excellent football throughout the first-half, team manager Gary Ablett will be disappointed that we did not create a big enough gap to make the match more comfortable after watching his lads squander some golden chances.

The second half however was a scrappy affair with both teams cancelling each other out. Ryan Flynn came very close to grabbing a couple of goals but for some classy goalkeeping from Wanderers’ Adam Bogdan, as did Jay Spearing who hit the post directly from a corner-kick.

Daniel Agger continued on his road to recovery with another 60 minutes under his belt in a bid to regain fitness in time for the final few games of the season.
