Hodgson must sweat it out before he get’s our Finn
Fulham manager Roy Hodgson has targeted defensive kingpin Sami Hyypia as his number one target should he manage to keep the Londoners in the Premiership this season.
The Finnish defender will turn 35 in October and is expected to be granted a free transfer at the end of the season by manager Rafa Benitez as our defensive-line has been strengthened with the additions of Daniel Agger and Martin Skrtel in preperation for life after Sami.
Sami could welcome a move to work under Hodgson again after their time together with the Finnish national team back in 2005, but Sami is sure to reject any offers from Championship clubs which means Hodgson must sweat it out before he knows he even has a sniff of getting his man.
