Hicks Jnr. targeted at The Sandon

Tom Hicks Jnr. was the subject of a torrent of abuse and anti-G&H chanting at The Sandon where himself and three other additions to his party attended about an hour after our 3-2 win over Middlebrough yesterday afternoon.

“After a few minutes people started to recognise who he was. They were at the bar ordering drinks when the anti-American chants started and they carried on until they left 10 or 15 minutes later. You could say he was a bit naive coming in somewhere like that, but like a new manager, they are going to make mistakes. It was a harsh lesson for him.” said an observer.
