Speculation is rife once again that should Rafa Benitez be dismissed of his managerial duties at Anfield, top players like Fernando Torres, Xabi Alonso, Pepe Reina and even Steven Gerrard, would want to leave the door with him - with Ronaldinho being tipped as a target in a swap-deal involving our captain fantastic.

It was only 4 months ago when Ronaldinho was tipped to be Anfield-bound should our American owners get they’re own way and rid themselves of Rafa, but after holding on to his job by the skin of his teeth over the last few weeks, stories are surfacing once again to add even more pressure on our under-achieving stars, and our under-fire manager.

American Tom Hicks has publicly stated that they have no intention of removing Rafa from the Anfield hot-seat.

i’m sorry but whoever thinks up these silly stories must be an idiot, if anyone can genuinely believe a move like that happening, EVER, then they haven’t a clue about LFC, this is the sort of rubbish you expect to hear from other poor web-sites in their rumour mill when they can’t find anything official to put up

well like i’ve said before and now that i know you are a chelsea fan which shows you probably will have a lack of genuine knowledge of the club as has been reflected in your story because, no, ronaldinho was not tipped to join liverpool by any official comments or respectable journalists/web sites, only by these such ones which make up stories to gain hits on their sites by making up poor rumours.

What a load of rubbish. Alonso leaving i would accept as he is over-rated and we would get about 16m for his. The Gerrard story is utter rubbish he does’nt even get on with Benitez and if Benitez was to be replaced by D.I.C. or by Staller and Waldorf Gerrard would be happy to see the back of him. If one was to go i know who my money would be on.
