England Winger to Join Liverpool?

Middlesbrough winger Stewart Downing is linked with Liverpool if Benitez current fight with Villa manger Martin O’Neill over the transfer of Gareth Barry is not resolved.

The England winger is also strongly linked with Tottenham and Everton recently signed a new deal, but is though to be willing to accept a transfer to the Champions League semi-finalist. It is estimated that Downing would cost a staggering £12 million pounds.
