Dortmund star talks down Anfield switch

Borussia Dortmund full back Philipp Degen told reporters today that a switch to Anfield in the summer is ‘definately not simmering’ after speculation suggested he was on the verge of agreeing a switch to the Premiership.

“There is nothing to it,” he told Austrian reporters. “I have not signed anything.” he declared.

“Also with Liverpool, it is definitely not simmering.

“Two or three clubs are interested me and BVB [Dortmund] have made a concrete offer.

“But there is no decision. Still not.” he added.
