DIC ready to oust the Yanks

Published by Redneck on September 3, 2008

Fresh on the heels of Manchester City’s takeover earlier this week, reports suggest that DIC are set to return with an improved £500m offer to oust the Yanks from power at Anfield.

Sheikh Mohammed (pictured) is said to test the Yanks’ resolve by offering them both a healthy profit to walk away with should they accept the proposed half-a-billion pound takeover offer.

The move would be welcomed by the vast majority of Kopites after being let-down yet again by Hicks & Gillett as news broke last month that they are delaying work on the new stadium for a further 12-18 months.

The Spirit Of Shankly group are also considering urging the Royal Bank of Scotland, Hicks & Gillett’s source for further financing, to refuse any further funding to the Yanks.

Hopefully D.I.C can intise Gillet and Hicks into selling, the bigger w*nkr of the two for me and based on reports I have heard is Gillet who is unwilling to either sell the club or buy players. Really they should go if they can’t finance simple moves (Barry being the example I can think of at the mo) or the stadium (sure they can dig all they wanta but they have to start building the foundations and fast!)
Yanks out! DIC Save Our Club!
