DIC deny takeover rumours

The Dubai-based international investment company have denied they are in talks with Liverpool regarding the potential ownership of the club.

“DIC can confirm that it is not involved in any negotiations to buy LFC and is not planning a fresh bid for LFC or any other football club,” the United Arab Emirates-based company said in an e-mailed statement.

It is understood that Sheikh Mohammed has ditched DIC to launch a personal bid for the takeover of Liverpool.
