Cerezo Closes Door on Argentine Sale

Atlético de Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has all but closed the door on the sale of Argentine International Maxi Rodríguez.

“You will have to ask them [Liverpool] about that, but we have no plans to sell Maxi,” he said. “We have absolutely no offers for him and our plan is that he will stay with us for next season.”

“We will speak to the coach when the season finishes because all we are worrying about now is playing Getafe next next Sunday,” he added.
