Carson to make a return to Anfield
England international goalkeeper, Scott Carson is set to make a return to Anfield at the end of the season as Aston Villa beat Celtic to the signing of Chivas ‘keeper, Brad Guzan.
Guzan, who has played for the U.S.A. International team ten-times, joined Villa in a deal worth a reported £3.1million, which is by far the cheaper alternative to Carson who is valued by Rafa at £10million.
After “that” error in an England shirt, and a handful of dodgy performances in the Premier League this season, his value, according to Villa sources, is overly blown out-of-proportion and they are simply not willing to do business.
The move will come as a disappointment to Scott, who was hoping to secure a permanent deal at Villa Park after being left-out in the cold by Rafael Benitez, who has since signed Charles Itandje as a replacement.

Shame… but expected. I could see the pounds falling away from Carson’s valuation as soon as that goal went in against Croatia…
