Carragher excluded from PFA Team awards
April 28, 2008 · By Redneck · Jump to comments
Reds captain Steven Gerrard and sensational hitman Fernando Torres were both included in the PFA Premier League Team 2007/08.
Former Liverpool goalkeeper David James was also declared the league’s best goalkeeper with his deserved inclusion.
However, although the line-up is pretty much accurate, it is disappointing not to have seen Jamie Carragher’s inclusion replacing one of the two Scum centre-backs in Vidic and Rio after yet another sensational campaign.
The Premier League Team 2007/08 in full:
David James (Portsmouth)
Bacary Sagna (Arsenal)
Rio Ferdinand (Man Utd)
Nemanja Vidic (Man Utd)
Gael Clichy (Arsenal)
Cristiano Ronaldo (Man Utd)
Steven Gerrard (Liverpool)
Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal)
Ashley Young (Aston Villa)
Fernando Torres (Liverpool)
Emmanuel Adebayor (Arsenal)
