Carra not surprised by flying start

Published by fiz on October 12, 2008

Jamie Carragher is not surprised by the club’s impressive start to the season and he hopes everyone would stop talking about it.

The Bootle-born defender believes that it’s only right that Liverpool are joint leaders at the top of the league.

He insists that it’s only right for a club like Liverpool to be up ‘there’ and it’s nothing surprising.

“People should stop saying we’ve made a great start, though. I’m thinking, ‘We’ve only played seven games and we’re Liverpool,” he told Liverpoolfc.tv.

“Shouldn’t we be up there? Am I missing something?’ We’re not Hull. If we’re still up there in March we can talk about it, until then focus on doing our best in every game. Actions speak louder than words.”
