Bluenoses’ believes Toffee’s have upper-hand
Everton defender Leighton Baines believes our crunch clash at Anfield this Sunday could ultimately decide on who finishes fourth in the league to claim that all-important last Champions League Qualifying spot, not to mention in claiming bragging-rights throughout the city.
“We know how much it could mean not only in the race for fourth, but for the fans as well, we will keep aiming for fourth place”
“We know if we can get a good result there we are right back in it and we know they have some tough games to come.”
“We have more home games than away games left.” he added.
Meanwhile Blue’s goalkeeper Tim Howard also believes his team can upset the Anfield apple-cart.
“I don’t think you ever need any incentive in derbies but there will be this year because of how close we are, we are looking to get a result and that would be the case no matter what.” said the American International.
