Benitez keen to add £14million winger to Crouch deal

Portsmouth’s Niko Kranjcar has emerged as a surprise transfer-target for manager Rafael Benitez according to The People.

The 23 year-old Croatian International star (pictured tussling with Riise) is valued highly by Pompey boss Harry Redknapp but could be tempted to off-load him if it meant capturing the signature of Peter Crouch.

A £8million deal between the two clubs has already been agreed for our striker, but Benitez is keen to add Kranjcar to the deal in exchange for Crouch plus around £6million cash.
