Benitez hails great performance (Podcast)

Having endured heavy criticism over the past few months, Rafa Benitez managed another sigh of relief after an emphatic 3-1 win over Bolton at the Reebok Stadium.
The knives were out for Rafa after their FA Cup exit to Barnsley a fortnight ago, but 3 wins out of 3 since and everything is rosie yet again for the Spaniard … well, everything apart from his ongoing row with Liverpool’s American owners and their seemingly internal feud over future ownership that is!
Jussi Jaaskelainen’s gift early doors set up a resounding win for Benitez’ men - and goals from Ryan Babel and Fabio Aurelio’s maiden strike ensured Tamir Cohen’s late response hardly mattered.
Speaking after the game, Benitez said the win showed they do have resolve as they close on Everton in 4th place. Next up is a home match against West Ham, where a win will take them back above their city rivals on goal difference.
