Benayoun’s Everton link rubbished

Published by fiz on June 12, 2008

Everton officials has dismissed speculation suggesting the club are in the race to sign Liverpool’s playmaker Yossi Benayoun. They’ve described the speculation as pure “fantasy”. Benayoun has recently been linked with a £3.5 move to the blue half of Liverpool.

Benayoun could be labelled as a ‘fringe’ player at Anfield and could probably find himself leaving only if the offer is good. However, it’s definitely not to the bitter half of Liverpool.

Benayoun can be offload by Liverpool, but certainly not to the bitters… But I prefer him to stay, as Benni is a decent squad player for us. His creativity & passing suits him as Stevie G’s backup in “hole” position just behind Torres…

lol a blue nose with a sense of humour :D

Benni’s good but I’ve always said he’s not LFC quality, I think he was a stop-gap for Rafa to fill a vacant hole with, hopefully this season he’ll be able to purchase better players and get rid of some of the dead wood - Sorry Benni but your included.

    imo
