‘Barcodes’ eyes loan move for Liverpool defender
Kevin Keegan is looking to sign Liverpool’s Emiliano Insua on loan according to The Sunderland Echo. With only one left-back at Newcastle, it has prompted Keegan to be on the lookout for another left-back.
Keegan’s scouts have reportedly watched the former Boca Juniors starlet on numerous occasions whilst on reserve duty for the Reds, and Keegan is understood to be impressed with the reports flooding back to his desk.
Insua is highly rated at Anfield and could be getting several games under his belt this coming season after the departure of John Arne Riise.
