Athetlic star dampens Premiership switch

Athletic Bilbao star Fernando Amorebieta today spoke of the reported interest from Newcastle United, Man Ure and Liverpool.

“It is positive for me but it is not really in my plans to leave Athletic, my future is here and I want to progress as a player.”

“I have heard rumours since last summer but nobody has formally contacted my club. Athletic decide my future and that has not changed.” he added.
