Midfielder Javier Mascherano has been called up into the Argentine national squad for two forthcoming friendlies in preperation for their gruelling World Cup Qualifyinf campaign.

Argentina will play Mexico and U.S.A on the 4th and 8th of June respectively, later followed by two WCQ games against Ecuador and Brazil.
